As a yoga teacher and believer in Jesus Christ, I believe that we are responsible to keep the body and the mind healthy and active through all stages of life As Christians, we never retire from serving the Lord – and in taking care of the precious gift of our bodies and our health, we are better able to serve Christ and others for the Kingdom. In a nation with an aging and sedentary population it is so important that we make the effort to be better stewards of our bodies and our health. HY is the perfect vehicle with which to do this because in addition to all the many benefits of yoga, we have the added joy of being able to actively worship and praise the Lord at the same time.
It is my hope that my classes will physically challenge my students; inspire them to take better care of themselves and best of all to facilitate a fuller enjoyment of God’s presence in their lives.
In addition to my classes, I am also available for private instruction and retreats.
